My music catalogue

When I studied music in high school, I much preferred to create over performing or listening. I did enjoy the listening activities, but I preferred it from an artistic and emotional viewpoint, rather than analysing components of the music itself.

In Sixth Form, I took Music Technology for one of my subjects to study and it focused more on the elements of music production and the industry. One of the things I enjoyed was being allowed into the music studio where we had access to high-quality recording equipment and a soundproof room. At the time, I was using Cubase and I'd often race through my assignments to create music remixes using the software. After Sixth Form, I went to university and studied game development. Wanting to work on more music, I switched to Mixcraft and started making music again. It took a while to get used to the software, but I started with remixes first.

Albums

As of this post, I've put together a total of 24 albums. A future blog post will be related to each album, talking about why I made them and what I find interesting about them. During my time at university, I got to write the soundtrack for two games: an unreleased platformer 'Aukai: Tidestar', and the bullet-hell 'Adorable Dog: Gnomeageddon'.

Other notes

A few of my friends have said they put my music in the background for some ambience. I split my videos down into single videos on the dJ Blackbourne channel, but I also post a "full album" version on the CAdventures Entertainment channel so you can choose whether you like a particular song or listen to the whole album together.

You'll also find a link to my discography in the navigation bar. It's a very simple spreadsheet of the tracks I've published, nothing fancy. Feel free to have a glance! I try to keep it up to date as best as I can.
